Melanie Reese

Melanie Reese, MBA, is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in treasury management and risk management. Currently, Melanie serves as the Director of Finance-Risk Management and Treasury at Brinker International, a position held since April 2016, after progressing from Senior Treasury Manager. Prior to this role, Melanie was the Treasury Manager at Ryan, overseeing nearly three hundred bank accounts and establishing international banking structures. Additional experience includes a tenure as Senior Director of Treasury at Tribune Publishing Company, where key treasury functions were transitioned during a corporate spin-off, and significant roles at Belo, including Treasury Manager and Sr. Investor Relations Analyst. Melanie’s career began at Efficient Networks, Inc. / Siemens, with rapid advancement from Staff Accountant to Accounting Manager. Educational qualifications include an MBA with an emphasis in Accounting from Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas, and a BBA in Finance from Texas Tech University.
