Errol Soares

Errol Soares is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in fibre operations and engineering, currently serving as the Fibre Regional Team Lead at BUUK Infrastructure since October 2016. In this role, Errol provides critical on-site support within the Network Operations Centre, ensuring high standards of safety and technical quality while acting as the first responder to OFNL incidents. Previously, Errol held positions as a Senior Fibre Operations Field Engineer and a Fibre Operations Field Engineer, focusing on fault resolution, site commissioning, and network asset maintenance. Errol's career began with Global Light Telecommunications, where responsibilities included splicing, testing, and updating network designs. Education was completed at Mark Rutherford School.
