Hang Li

Hang Li has extensive experience in research and development within the technology sector, currently serving as the Head of Research and Director of the AI Lab at ByteDance since September 2017. Prior to this role, Hang Li held significant positions at Huawei Technologies, including Director and Chief Scientist of Noah's Ark Lab from September 2012 to September 2017. Further experience includes a tenure as Research Manager at Microsoft Research Asia from June 2001 to May 2012 and as a Researcher at NEC from April 1990 to May 2001. Hang Li holds a PhD in Computer Science from The University of Tokyo and multiple degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kyoto University, along with short courses at Northeast Normal University and Xi'an Jiaotong University.
