Human Resources Coordinator

Cahill Contractors is seeking a passionate Human Resources Coordinator. This position will report to the Senior HR Manager and assist Cahill to recruit, retain, and maximize the potential of our greatest asset, our people. This is a non-exempt role.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Post job openings and setup interview plans within our Applicant Track System, Greenhouse
  • Coordinate interviews within our ATS, Greenhouse
  • Support Cahill’s participation in career fairs and other recruitment events
  • Assist with coordinating activities related to Cahill’s summer internship program
  • Represent Cahill at career fairs
  • Coordinate background checks and references
  • Assist in onboarding for office employees

Benefits Administration:

  • Assist with the annual open enrollment program
  • Assist with reports for various benefit programs and annual reports.
  • Backup for HR Generalist with benefits changes and questions throughout the year

Payroll Administration:

  • Backup for payroll on verification of employment
  • Create employment verification letters
  • Liaison with payroll on employee changes
  • Track employee vacation accruals

Compliance:

  • Ensure Cahill’s employment practices are consistent with all laws and regulations
  • Coordinate compliance for all city, state, and federal regulations and manage posters
  • Track employee compliance training and coordinate trainings as needed
  • Maintain HR folders

Management of HR Technology:

  • Maintain Viewpoint as a combined HRIS/payroll software
  • Keep data up to date in our performance management software (Lattice)
  • Manage employee data in our learning management system (Absorb)
  • Maintain SOP manual for HR

Employee Experience and Retention:

  • Assist with planning of HR events and trainings
  • Coordinate swag purchasing and inventory tracking with the marketing team
  • Assist with HR projects as needed
  • Act as a trusted resource for employees.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Proficiency in MS office products
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, problem-solve, and adapt
  • Ability to keep information confidential
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Positive outlook and attitude 

BENEFITS:

  • Full-time direct-hire position located in downtown San Francisco. This role is hybrid with three days in the office. #LI-Hybrid
  • In addition to competitive salary, we have an annual discretionary performance-based bonus
  • Cahill covers 100% monthly premiums for employee medical/dental/vision coverage for HMO and PPO plans. Multiple options for spouse/partner and family coverage.
  • Other benefits include a wellness stipend, FSA, and 401(k) with matching and annual discretionary contribution.
  • Start date: Immediately

 The base hourly range for this non-exempt role is targeted between $31.25- $33.65
