Wen Lu

Principal Investigator at Calico

Wen Lu currently serves as a Principal Investigator at Calico Life Sciences, focusing on Immune Aging since November 2023. Prior to this role, Wen Lu was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UCSF Medical Center from July 2016 to November 2023, mentored by Art Weiss, MD, PhD. Significant projects include research on phosphatidylinositol transfer proteins in T cell immunity (published in Nature Immunology 2023), the function of C-terminal Src kinase in lymphocytes (published in PNAS 2021), and a synthetic muscarinic receptor system that stimulates IFN-g production in T cells (published in PNAS 2023). Wen Lu earned a PhD in Immunology from Baylor College of Medicine in July 2015 and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Science from Tsinghua University in July 2007.
