Michael Bernard is an accomplished educator and consultant with extensive experience in promoting social-emotional well-being and positive mindset development. Currently serving as an Emeritus Professor at California State University, Long Beach, and as Founder and CEO of You Can Do It! Education, Bernard has established programs implemented in over 6,000 schools globally, yielding significant improvements in academic performance. As Managing Director of High Performance Mindset at Work until February 2023, Bernard led initiatives to enhance workplace productivity and engagement. Additionally, as a Professorial Fellow at the University of Melbourne, Bernard contributed to graduate education in various psychology programs. With a background that includes directing the Australian Institute for Rational Emotive Therapy and a robust educational foundation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Bernard is recognized for training numerous mental health practitioners and advancing evidence-based educational practices.
