Jim Newman is an accomplished cyber security professional currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Capco since March 2023. Previously, Jim held key roles in various organizations, including Head of Cyber Security at Railsr, where strategic security measures were implemented during a challenging transition, and Senior VP of Information Security at KidsLoop Co., Ltd., leading the creation of a robust information security strategy in a fast-growing EdTech firm. Jim's extensive experience includes establishing formal information security programs at Jaja Finance and ieDigital, developing security policies, managing vendor risk, and achieving compliance with ISO27001 and PCI-DSS. With a solid educational background from the SANS Technology Institute and the University of Oxford, Jim Newman has demonstrated a consistent ability to enhance organizational security postures and develop innovative solutions within the fintech and technology sectors.
