Jay Pekelder

Jay Pekelder currently serves as the Inventory and Supply Manager at CarMax, where responsibilities include onboarding new associates, overseeing Environmental Health and Safety programs, and managing significant supply order processes. Jay has a strong background in production management, having previously led teams to achieve operational goals at CarMax and has also contributed to strategic planning during temporary assignments. Prior to CarMax, Jay held various leadership roles at Target, focusing on asset protection and operational excellence, and gained experience through internships with the U.S. Secret Service and Washington County Sheriff's Office. Jay holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Portland State University.
