Ann-Marie Slavin serves as the Strategic Director at Modern Democracy, a leading company in the digital transformation of polling stations in the UK, since December 2015. The organization has achieved notable compliance with The Elections Act 2022 and successfully implemented its solutions during the May 2023 local government elections. Additionally, Ann-Marie has been an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Northern Ireland Science Park since June 2014, and previously held the position of Commercial Director at Smyson Solutions from September 2013 to September 2015. Ann-Marie is also recognized as the Founder and CEO of Opt2Vote Ltd, which operated from July 2003 to July 2013. Ann-Marie completed education at The University of Huddersfield from 1980 to 1983, along with earlier schooling at Mount Carmel Grammar School and St Colmans High School in Strabane.
