Jim Utz serves as the Construction Survey and Layout Manager for Ceco Concrete Construction since January 2017, implementing guidelines from the textbook authored by Wesley Crawford. Previously, Jim held the position of Construction Surveyor at Ceco Concrete Construction starting in April 2012, working on significant projects such as the 1,500,000-square-foot mixed-use development Stadium Place in Seattle. Prior experience includes roles as a Construction Surveying Carpenter at Turner Construction and Sellen Construction, as well as a Carpenter specializing in layout for Baugh/Skanska USA Building Inc. from 1990 to 2003, demonstrating extensive skills in commercial construction across various building types. Jim's educational background includes studies at Renton Technical College and Edmonds Community College.
