Samantha Hill is a seasoned engineer with a robust background in energy-efficient technologies and innovative research and development. Currently serving as a Senior Research Engineer at the Center for Energy and Environment since November 2021, Samantha conducts research projects and field studies aimed at improving cost efficacy and reducing emissions. Prior experience includes an Innovation Specialist role at Donaldson, where projects generated net present values between approximately $12M and $120M, and an NSF Research Fellow position at the High Temperature and Plasma Laboratory, focusing on energy harvesting applications through interdisciplinary approaches. Additional contributions span consulting expertise at Hypersonix, internships at Solar Turbines and Thermo King, and leadership roles with Engineers Without Borders, showcasing a commitment to impactful engineering solutions and community-based projects. Samantha holds a PhD and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
