Mitchell O'Shea

Mitchell O'Shea, MA RRT-ACCS CPFT NPS PNAP, currently serves as the Director of Degree Advancement & Partnership Relations in the Respiratory Therapy Program at Rowan University since July 2023. O'Shea has extensive experience in respiratory therapy, holding positions as a Staff Respiratory Therapist at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and CentraState Healthcare System since 2016 and 2008, respectively, and previously as a Clinical Coordinator and in various other roles in the field. Additionally, educational contributions have been made as Program Director and Academic Specialist at Union County College and as an Adjunct Professor & Clinical Instructor at Brookdale Community College. O'Shea's educational background includes an MA in Applied Physiology from Columbia University and an ongoing PhD in Post-Secondary and Adult Education from Capella University, along with degrees in Respiratory Therapy and Exercise Physiology from State University of New York and Manhattan University.
