Pravin Kothari is a serial entrepreneur and technology visionary with more than 25 years of experience building industry-leading companies and bringing innovative products to market. Pravin is currently the founder & CEO of AppSOC, a cybersecurity company, providing cloud-native application security leveraging the latest AI and Machine Learning to deliver increased Security, Visibility, and Productivity for technology products development. Previously, he was the founder & CEO of CipherCloud, a cloud security provider, backed by premier VC firms such as Andreessen Horowitz, which was acquired by Lookout Inc. Prior to CipherCloud, Pravin was the Co-founder & VP Engineering of ArcSight, which was acquired by HP for $1.6 billion. Previously, Pravin held technical leadership positions at Verity, Attachmate, and Tata Consultancy Services. Pravin holds an MS degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay. He is a Charter Member of TiE, a global organization dedicated to the advancement of entrepreneurship.
