Marcia D. Howard, Ph.D., CAE (she/her) has extensive experience in regulatory and scientific affairs within the consumer healthcare industry. Marcia D. currently serves as the Vice President of Regulatory & Scientific Affairs at Consumer Healthcare. Prior to their current role, Marcia held various positions at the Consumer Healthcare Products Association, including Senior Director, Director, and Associate Director of Regulatory & Scientific Affairs. In addition, Marcia participated in the Diversity Executive Leadership Program as a scholar at the American Society of Association Executives from 2016 to 2018.

Marcia D. Howard, Ph.D., CAE (she/her) has a diverse educational background. Marcia D. completed their B.S. in Biochemistry at The University of Georgia. Later, they pursued their Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences/Neurotoxicology at the University of Louisiana Monroe. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership in January 2018. Furthermore, they received the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in December 2021.
