David Newton

David Newton has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. David started their career at Garman Systems in 1993, where they worked as a Principal Engineer until 1996. David then joined ASML as a Sr Staff Engineer in 1997 and worked there until 2002. After that, they joined Zygo Corporation as a Member Technical Staff from 2002 to 2009. In 2009, they moved to Protedyne as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer and worked there until 2011. Since 2011, they have been associated with CiDRA, where they held various roles including Senior Development Engineer, Engineering Manager, Director, Mechanical Engineering, and currently, they are serving as the Director Of Engineering.

David Newton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University. David attended Cornell from 1988 to 1991. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, attending from 1991 to 1994.
