Lauren Gutierrez

Lauren Gutierrez is a Cybersecurity Specialist at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency since July 2024. Prior to this role, Lauren served as a Security Awareness and Training Analyst at K2United from June 2023 to June 2024 and as a Cybersecurity Awareness and Training Coordinator at HacWare for a brief period in early 2023. Lauren began a career in education, working as a Reading Specialist at Des Plaines School District 62 from August 2020 to July 2021 and as an English Second Language Teacher at Chicago Public Schools from August 2014 to August 2020. Earlier experience includes serving as a Primary Teacher at the Archdiocese of Chicago from August 2012 to August 2014. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Facilities Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, along with two master's degrees from National Louis University, one in Reading Specialist and another in Elementary Education and Teaching.
