Sue Wang

Sue Wang is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Deputy CISO for Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) at The City University of New York since February 2024. Prior to this role, Sue held positions at the Department of Finance, including Deputy CISO and Director of Cyber Security Governance from January 2016 to February 2024. Sue's extensive background in data security began at Metlife, where Sue was a Senior Data Security Administrator responsible for database security management and compliance with critical regulations. Earlier in Sue's career, Sue worked as an Application DBA at Citi Group, overseeing production database environments for the Global Management Information System. Sue holds a degree from Cornell University.
