Jesse Whaley

Jesse Whaley currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Amtrak, overseeing cyber risk management and information security in both enterprise and operational technology contexts. With a robust background in cybersecurity, Jesse has held leadership roles including Director of the Cybersecurity Operations Center for the United States Department of Defense, where Jesse established the first combined joint Cybersecurity Operations Center for the Pentagon. Additionally, Jesse has contributed to Tetrate as an Advisory Board Member, leveraging expertise in enterprise-grade service mesh technology. Previous experience includes cybersecurity roles within the US Army and various consultancy positions, complemented by a strong educational foundation in information systems and security from institutions like Liberty University and Western Governors University.
