This role encompasses managing key strategic and transformational projects such as migrations and a key account on boarding project. The core purpose is to oversee the successful planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of projects within defined scope, time, cost, and quality parameters.

Key responsibilities include driving project activities, coordinating cross-functional resources, managing risks, and maintaining clear and effective communication with stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

You will collaborate closely with diverse teams such as product development, legal, operations, marketing, and finance. Additionally, where relevant, you will engage with external stakeholders such as clients, third parties, or Trustee(s), ensuring seamless execution and alignment with client and market expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the end-to-end project delivery, from project initiation through to project closure.
  • Ensure the project management disciplines are effectively deployed on the project to ensure quality outcomes are achieved and the likelihood of project delivery success is increased.
  • Project Planning: Ensures clarity and alignment from the start, defines project goals, success measures, delivery constraints e.g. time, cost.
  • Scope Management: Document project scope (In/Out) and deliverables ensuring alignment to project goals and objectives.
  • Roles & Responsibilities: Defines and implements an appropriate project governance framework, outlining the various roles & responsibilities of individuals involved in the project (RACI).
  • Resource Management: Define resource requirements and managing resource availability and allocation – both internal and third party.
  • Change Requests: Managing and adjusting for any changes in project scope, schedule and / or budget.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Tracking project progress, monitoring key performance indicators, and providing regular status reports to stakeholders and management.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Management, or related field.
  • PMI or PMP certification or similar from an accredited organization.
  • Advanced project management skills with 7+ years of experience managing complex projects.
  • Experience with different project management frameworks, including waterfall and agile.
  • Deep expertise in the wealth management industry, superannuation, or investment products, with experience in wrap platform environments.
  • Experience interacting with Board & Executive Management
  • Experience with replatforming migration projects such as Successor Fund Transfer (SFT), Intra-Fund Transfers (IFT) and/or change of administrator/ custodian migrations
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and coaching.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project.
