After 31 years, Eric Tripp retired from BMO Financial Group in 2014. Following his appointment to president of the capital markets unit in 2008, he helped to lead its successful expansion through a volatile market environment and was responsible for the risk and balance sheet management in all the firm’s dealings with corporate, institutional, and government clients. Previously, he held senior positions with the bank’s equity treasury and trading products businesses.
