Sébastien Rufiange

Sébastien Rufiange has worked for various companies since 2005. Sébastien started their career as a Programmer at Technomedia and Millogiciel du Canada Inc. In 2007, they joined SAP Labs Canada as a Software Engineer. From 2009 to 2014, they were a Lecturer and Teacher Assistant at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS). In 2013, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at Inria. From 2014 to 2018, they were an Associate Professor at EISTI. In 2021, they joined wweeddoo.com as a Tech Head, and in 2022, they became the Director of Engineering at Receptivity. Throughout their career, they have worked with various technologies such as React, Node.js, Material UI/Semantic, Javascript, Typescript, Postgres, Docker, GitLab CI, Elastic ELK Stack, Next.js, GraphQL, Java EE, Design Patterns, PHP, and Python.

Sébastien Rufiange obtained a B.Eng. in Software Engineering from École de technologie supérieure between 2004 and 2008. Sébastien then returned to the same institution to pursue a Ph.D. in Software Engineering from 2009 to 2013. In 2021, they obtained a certification in Gestion de Projet Agile avec Scrum : Perfectionnement from Certificats L'Agiliste. In 2019, they obtained a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance.
