Vern Edin has extensive experience in educational leadership and teaching, currently serving as the Student Teacher Cadre Leader at the University of North Texas since August 2013. In addition, Vern has held the position of Principal at Coppell Independent School District since 1986, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to educational administration. Early career experience included roles as a History teacher and coaching soccer and basketball at Sweet Home High School in Williamsville, N.Y. from August 1973 to June 1983. Vern Edin holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on Secondary Education - Social Studies from the University at Buffalo, awarded in 2002.
