Tom Livingston

Tom Livingston serves as Vice President of Government Affairs at CSX since July 2003, where responsibilities have included leading State Government & Community Affairs and holding positions as Regional Vice President and Resident Vice President. Additionally, Tom is a Director on the Board of The Indiana Rail Road Company. Prior involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors and as Chairman for the Michigan Railroads Association from March 2012 to March 2019, and as Executive Director of the Illinois Medical District from January 1999 to July 2003. Tom's early career included a role as Senior Assistant to the Governor from January 1991 to January 1999. Academically, Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield. Further education includes programs at the University of Maryland and Harvard Business School.
