Robert Meek

Believing there was a better way to repair pelvic fractures, Dr. Robert Meek is the visionary behind the CurvaFix concept. He currently chairs the surgeon advisory board. Dr. Meek is a Clinical Professor Emeritus at the University of British Columbia, where he has been a member of the Faculty of Medicine for 45 years. In the early ‘80s he founded and became the first Head of the University and Vancouver General Divisions of Orthopaedic Trauma. At the Vancouver General Hospital, he held positions as President of the Medical Staff, Chief of Medical Staff and sat on the Board of Trustees. He is a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association which honored him with the Dr. John Border Lectureship. He served on the AO Foundation Board of Trustees and has held positions on the editorial boards of the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma and INJURY.
