Richard Ogawa is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and corporate legal services, particularly in high technology and venture-backed companies. Since February 2010, Richard has been a partner at OGAWA Professional Corporation. Richard previously served as General Counsel at Inphi Corporation, where responsibilities included oversight of legal matters and significant contributions to the company's growth from $200 million to $11 billion before its sale to Marvell. As Chief Intellectual Property Officer for Khosla Ventures Companies, Richard supported clean tech startups and served as General Counsel for SLD Laser Inc., which was acquired by Kyocera Corporation. Additionally, Richard spent over 16 years at Townsend and Townsend and Crew LLP as a partner, and earlier experience includes managing a semiconductor manufacturing facility at NEC Electronics. Richard holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law, an Executive Education degree from Columbia Business School, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
