Simon Funke is a Senior Referent Technische Innovationen at DB Cargo since April 2023. Prior to this role, Simon worked as Projektingenieur Oberleitungsanlagen at DB Netz AG, Partner Manager Automotive at understand.ai, and Research Associate at Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI. Simon holds a Dr.-Ing. degree in Economic Engineer - Electrical Engineering from the University of Kassel and a Diploma in Economic Engineer from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
