Alex Holehouse

Alex Holehouse is an assistant professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics at Washington University School of Medicine, where his lab leverages a range of computational and experimental approaches to understand how disordered proteins mediate biological function. In particular, the lab integrates physics-based models with informatics and machine learning, with a major focus on understanding how disordered proteins contribute to cellular information-processing, and how this can go awry in disease.

Dewpoint Therapeutics

Dewpoint Therapeutics is the first company founded to apply the emerging discipline of biomolecular condensates to drug discovery. Dewpoint believes that a vast range of conditions has pathways that are regulated by condensates or arise from the dysfunction of condensates - including cancer, neurodegeneration, and metabolic disease.
