Charles Poiré currently serves as Director of Investments at Diagram Ventures since February 2024. Previously, Charles held the position of Investment Director at Desjardins, focusing on venture capital for promising tech startups in areas such as enterprise SaaS, artificial intelligence, fintech, and more. Prior to this role, Charles was an Associate at BDC, working with the ICE Venture Fund, which specializes in Canadian industrial and energy technologies. Experience at KPMG Canada included several positions within management consulting, while earlier roles involved supply chain strategy at BONE Structure and project management at Bombardier Aerospace. Charles possesses a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal and has completed a program at Ivey Business School related to venture capital. Additionally, Charles has served on boards for companies such as Thentia and Upchain.
