Frederick Smalls

Frederick Smalls currently serves as the Director of Administration & Finance at the Maryland Office of the Secretary of State since February 2008. Additionally, Frederick holds the position of Chairman of the University of Maryland Capital Region Health Laurel Citizen Advisory Committee, having joined in February 2021, and is a former member of the Dimension's Healthcare System Board of Directors. Frederick has a significant history in local governance, having served for 17 years on the City Council of Laurel, MD, representing Ward II, and is currently the Chairman of the Laurel Board of Appeals.
