Trevor Smith is an experienced librarian and educator with a diverse background in technical services, metadata management, and library instruction. Currently serving as an Instructor at Library Juice Academy and as a Metadata and Monograph Acquisitions Librarian at Douglas College, Trevor specializes in teaching Microsoft Access for Libraries and monograph acquisitions. With roles as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at The University of British Columbia, Trevor has also instructed courses in collections management and database design. Previous positions include Technical Services Librarian at Capilano University and virtual reference services at BC Electronic Library Network. Trevor holds a Master of Library and Information Studies from The University of British Columbia and has a strong academic foundation with degrees in History and English from Simon Fraser University.
