John Nelson

John Nelson serves as the Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Dover Corporation since December 2021. Prior to this, John held various legal positions at Secureworks from June 2016 to November 2021, culminating in the role of Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, with prior experience as Senior Managing Counsel and Managing Counsel focused on EMEA and APJ regions. John began a legal career at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom from September 2007 to May 2016, specializing in M&A and general corporate matters, including significant participation in securities transactions and capital markets. John obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Michigan Law School and holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.
