A DAY IN THE LIFE

Working alongside our experienced team, you will take on diverse challenges, ranging from troubleshooting, performing routine maintenance, or tackling new projects. As you become more skilled, you will take on more complex challenges and begin completing services of your own. You can expect to engage in a combination of problem-solving, teamwork, and skill-building. Each day will present new opportunities to grow and make an impact on the company’s success.

YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Perform preventative maintenance on our fleet of diesel trucks and trailers including oil changes, filter replacements, APU services, lubrication, bearings, seals, equipment inspections, and more!
  • Perform corrective maintenance on heavy equipment, addressing issues such as body panel repairs, electrical failures, power steering issues, brakes, frame repairs, and a lot more!
  • Diagnose equipment issues through detailed inspections diagnostic software, light checks, and ABS diagnostic systems.
  • Ensure fleet compliance with DOT regulations, prioritizing safety by ensuring thorough inspections.
  • Demonstrate professional skills in prioritization, effective communication, and documentation by completing accurate and detailed repair orders.

YOUR SKILLSET

  • A strong desire to learn and grow professionally through hands-on work.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills for professional interactions with mentors, peers, and drivers.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing your time with shifting deadlines.
  • Comfortability with computers and the capacity to learn maintenance and diagnostic software.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • There are no minimum qualifications, we provide mentorship, a welcoming learning environment, and a set of tools for you!

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior mechanical experience (professionally or personally) is a plus.
  • A fundamental understanding of trade tools (sockets, ratchets, wrenches, etc.)
  • Prior experience welding.

SALARY AND SCHEDULE

  • Salary: $17.55 - $22.36 per hour, decided based on experience.
  • Schedule: Full-time on-site; Monday - Friday; Flexible Scheduling (Day Shift – 07:00 am – 3:30 pm // Afternoon Shift – 10:30 am – 7:00 pm)
