Evelyn Liesner is an experienced educator currently serving as a Secondary Teacher at Edmonton Catholic Schools since September 2018, specializing in Design, Communications Technology, Media Broadcast, and Business for grades 10-12. Evelyn has also worked as a replacement and substitute educator across various grade levels in both primary and secondary contexts within the Edmonton Catholic Schools system. Previous roles include teaching Digital Art and Design at St. Francis Xavier Catholic High School and engaging children in inquiry-based learning as an educator at multiple elementary schools, including Annunciation Catholic Elementary IB World School. Additionally, Evelyn served as the Interim Head of Education & Learning at the Art Gallery of Alberta, demonstrating creativity in education and arts engagement. Evelyn holds multiple certifications from the International Baccalaureate program and degrees in education, visual arts, and molecular genetics from reputable institutions.
