Tue Hesselberg Foged is a prominent Danish architect and educator, currently serving as Co-Founder at EFFEKT since July 2005. In addition to this role, Tue has been an External Censor for the Danish Academy Board since January 2014. Tue's academic contributions include a position as Visiting Professor at the University of Washington in 2016, where the graduate-level program 'Copenhagen for All' was directed alongside public lectures. EFFEKT is an architectural collaborative based in Copenhagen, Denmark, operating in the fields of architecture, urbanism and research. The company was established in 2007 and currently employ 55 full time staff under the creative direction of the two founders Tue Foged and Sinus Lynge. EFFEKT is the Danish word for impact. At EFFEKT we believe that architecture and urbanism is about creating a lasting positive impact on our surroundings and our planet. We therefore measure our projects on their impact - on the EFFEKT.
