David Neser has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. David started their career at BHP Steel as a Trainee Electrical Engineer in 1980 and later became an Instrument Maintenance Engineer. In 1990, they joined Schlumberger as a Seismic Observer and progressed to the roles of Shift Leader Observer and Chief Observer. David then worked at Schlumberger for a second time, starting in 1997, where they held various positions including Party Manager, Sales Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Operations Manager, and finally, Engineering Manager. In 2012, David joined emgs as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer, a position they still hold.
David Neser completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Australia between 1980 and 1985. Additionally, they obtained their Master of Science degree in Information Technology (Systems) from Heriot-Watt University from 2001 to 2002.
