Dr. Hareesh Pillai

Dr. Hareesh Pillai is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in engineering, technology, and management. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Sustainable Future Societies Project at The University of Tokyo and as a Tenure Track Assistant Professor at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Dr. Pillai brings expertise in sustainable societies and business education. There is a also a visiting position at emlyon business school, where courses in technology and management are taught. Previous roles include Associate Editor at the IET Collaborative Intelligent Manufacturing Journal, Adjunct Professorships at both Sino-British College and SKEMA Business School, and a research focus on intelligent digital supply chain management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Dr. Pillai's academic foundation includes a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management from National Tsing Hua University, complemented by multiple degrees in engineering and informatics.
