Dr. Robert J. Bridges Ph.D. is a professor of physiology and biophysics at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He is a member of the Center for Genetic Diseases as well as the Director of the Center for Cystic Fibrosis Drug Discovery. Dr. Bridges studies the physiology, biophysics, and pharmacology of epithelial ion channels. The Bridges’ laboratory has assisted a number of pharmaceutical and biotech companies with their discovery and development of drugs for the treatment of Cystic Fibrosis.
