Jacob Chen

Jacob Chen is an experienced climbing instructor currently at Equinox since May 2024 and a freelance photographer with Jacob Chen Photography since April 2022. Previous roles include serving as a restaurant server at 99 Restaurant & Pub, campaign canvasser and fundraiser for the New York Public Interest Research Group Fund, and COOP student aid/teacher at The Beacon School. Additionally, Jacob Chen has interned with Advocating for Justice on WBAI and Advocates for Justice and held an associate position with Carolyn Maloney for Congress. Jacob Chen was recognized as a New York Regional Gold Scholastic Award Winner in photography, with work featured in The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Education includes ongoing studies for a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Fordham University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Political Sciences at Clark University, alongside a high school diploma from The Beacon School.
