Alexa B. Kimball

Alexa B. Kimball, MD, MPH is a Professor of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School and CEO and President of Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a large academic multi-specialty 501(c)3 corporation based in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Kimball also co-chairs the Beth Israel Lahey Health Performance Network Board and is on the Board of Trustees of Beth Israel Lahey Health. She has published over 300 papers and conducted over 150 clinical trials with an emphasis on inflammatory skin diseases. Based on this work, Dr. Kimball has been awarded the American Skin Association Research Award for Health Policy and Medical Education, Mentor of the Year from the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and Outstanding Physician-Clinician Award from the National Psoriasis Foundation. She has served on the non-profit Boards of the Society for Investigative Dermatology, the Massachusetts Foundation for the Humanities and Public Policy, and the Hidradenitis Suppurativa Foundation and is the recent past President of the International Psoriasis Council.

Escalier Biosciences

Escalier Biosciences is developing both topical and oral RORγt inverse agonists for the treatment of a broad spectrum of psoriasis patients – from the underserved mild-to-moderate patients that would benefit from a safe and effective topical RORγt therapeutic to the more moderate-to-severe patients that would benefit from a safe and effective oral RORγt drug in lieu of injectable biologic therapies targeting IL-17 and IL-23.
