They’re walled universes, competing for attention against present-day platforms where people spend 75% of their time. **Ethereal’s metaverse is built into the products people are already using**, augmenting them to accommodate spatial experiences. Our browser extension turns any website into a rich spatial universe where content consumers can see and engage with other people on the same page. **Ethereal is the metaverse layer over the web** that lets content consumers interact and transact with each other anywhere they go online. Early customer discovery conversations showed us that young gamers, YouTube fans, and online shopping addicts all want this to exist, but we were most surprised by the response from the web3 enthusiasts. They wanted a way to buy into the community early. Since March, we: - Spun up a private NFT to reward these early supporters — it sold out almost immediately. - Secured a Polygon partnership that will help us distribute Ethereal to 1.5mm web3 enthusiasts across 7 communities in the Polygon ecosystem.
