Rafe Colburn

Rafe Colburn has extensive experience in technology leadership and product development, having served in various roles at notable companies. At Etsy from April 2016 to November 2021, Rafe held positions including Chief Technology Officer and VP of Engineering, overseeing engineering groups focused on marketing and seller-related initiatives. As a Senior Director of Engineering, Rafe managed product engineering teams in areas such as payments and trust & safety, while also leading data engineering efforts as Director of Engineering. Following Etsy, Rafe joined Depop as Chief Product and Technology Officer, responsible for the entire product development process. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Product Officer at IDology, where Rafe was a principal developer for identity verification services, and as Director of Technology at hesketh.com, providing technical leadership for a web consulting team. Rafe holds a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston.
