Project Manager Finance Systems

Operations · London, United Kingdom

Job description

The Role

euNetworks is embarking on an exciting project to implement e-invoicing across our European entities, specifically for our Italian and German operations using the Pagero platform. This project involves a crucial integration with our Salesforce environment, streamlining our invoicing processes and enhancing efficiency. We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager with Salesforce expertise to lead this 6-month initiative within the Finance Department, bridging the gap between Finance, IT Development, and Salesforce administration to ensure a seamless transition.

What will you be doing?

  • Project Leadership: Take full ownership of the e-invoicing implementation project, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resources.
  • Finance Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for Finance stakeholders, understanding their needs and ensuring the project aligns with their requirements.
  • Process Mapping and Analysis: Thoroughly document current Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes within Salesforce. Analyse these processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements for optimization with e-invoicing.
  • Pagero Implementation: Oversee the implementation of the Pagero software, coordinating with IT Development teams to ensure successful integration with existing systems.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders across Finance, IT, and external vendors (Pagero) to ensure alignment and project success.
  • Change Management: Develop and execute a change management plan to facilitate user adoption and ensure a smooth transition to the new e-invoicing process involving Salesforce and Pagero.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address any challenges.
  • Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive project documentation, including process maps, training materials, and user guides.
  • Project Reporting: Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.

What do we want from you?

  • Proven Project Management Experience: 3+ years of experience managing projects, ideally with a focus on finance or IT systems implementations.
  • Finance and Accounting Acumen: Strong understanding of AR and AP processes and their integration with financial systems.
  • E-invoicing Knowledge: Familiarity with e-invoicing regulations and best practices across Europe. Experience with Pagero is highly desirable.
  • Salesforce Expertise: Strong understanding of the Salesforce environment, functionality, and administration, particularly related to AR and AP processes.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with IT development teams.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and foster collaboration.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyse processes, identify gaps, and develop solutions.
  • Organized and Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
