Louise Bryan

Group Leader at ExcellGene SA

Louise Bryan currently serves as Group Leader at ExcellGene SA since June 2021, previously holding the position of Senior Research Associate. Prior experience includes a role as Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Adolphe Merkle Institute from January 2019 to February 2021 and as a Doctoral Assistant at EPFL within the Laboratory of Biophysical Chemistry of Macromolecules from September 2013 to September 2018. Louise has expertise in single-molecule microscopy, recombinant protein expression and purification, protein and peptide chemistry, and analytical chemistry techniques. Louise holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and has also worked on research related to therapeutic proteins and the characterization of nanoparticles. Educational credentials encompass a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Molecular and Biological Chemistry, all obtained from EPFL.
