Ferservizi S.p.A. è una società del gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato S.p.A., società che la controlla al 100%. La società è stata costituita nel 1991 con la denominazione Metropolis S.p.A. per occuparsi del consistente patrimonio immobiliare del gruppo FS. Nel 2002 la capogruppo ha conferito alla società tutte le attività cosiddette non-core, ossia tutta l'operatività che non è direttamente attinente alla gestione del trasporto ferroviario. Contestualmente la società ha assunto la denominazione attuale.
