Carly Zakin

Carly Zakin is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in production and entrepreneurship. As Co-founder of theSkimm since 2012, Carly has significantly contributed to its growth and impact in digital media. Currently serving as an Advisor at Matthew Berry's Fantasy Life, Carly also founded HigherWrite in 2011, providing career rebranding consultations and interview preparation services. Previous roles include Associate Producer positions at NBC Peacock Productions and Sirens Media, where Carly worked on MSNBC news projects and reality series, as well as early career experiences at MSNBC and CNBC. Carly holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Cinema Studies, and Creative Writing from the University of Pennsylvania.
