Zhe He

Zhe He, PhD, FAMIA, is a Guest Researcher at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) since September 2023, hosted by Dr. Zhiyong Lu. Zhe Zhe serves as the Vice Chair of the Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining Working Group and is also an Awards Committee Member and Secretary for the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA). In academia, Zhe Zhe holds the position of Associate Professor of Information (Biomedical Informatics) at Florida State University (FSU), where responsibilities include being the Director of the Biostatistics, Informatics, and Research Design (BIRD) Program, a Subject Matter Expert of Health Sciences, and Program Chair for the Master of Science in Information Technology program. Previous experience includes a postdoctoral position at Columbia University Medical Center and leadership roles in graduate student governance at NJIT. Zhe He's educational background includes a PhD and MS in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology and Columbia University, respectively, along with a Bachelor of Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
