Nick Haining

Nick Haining is a seasoned expert in the fields of oncology and immunology, currently serving as a Venture Partner at F-Prime Capital since April 2024. Haining co-founded ArsenalBio in January 2019, where the role of Chief Scientific Officer has been held. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Discovery Oncology and Immunology at Merck from January 2019 to July 2021, and a long tenure at Harvard Medical School as both an Associate and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics from 2007 to December 2018. Haining also held positions at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard as an Associate Member, and as a Staff Physician at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, along with an Assistant in Medicine role at Children's Hospital Boston, both from 1999 to December 2018. Earlier in the career, Haining was a post-doctoral fellow at MIT from 1997 to 1999. Educational qualifications include a B.M. and B.Ch. as well as a BA in Physiologic Sciences, all obtained from the University of Oxford.
