Michael Cannizzo is an experienced professional in the biotechnology and research sectors. Currently serving as a Lead QC Associate II at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies since March 2022, Michael specializes in HPLC and UPLC techniques to assess the concentration and purity of pharmaceuticals during manufacturing. Prior to this role, Michael worked as a Research Technician at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine from November 2020 to February 2022, where research contributions included the publication of a scientific article and a presentation at the 2021 Research Society for Alcoholism conference. Earlier experience includes a year-long educational research fellowship at the US Environmental Protection Agency. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completed in 2019, and graduated from Hickory Ridge High School in 2015.
