Ian McNaught

Ian McNaught is an experienced Solutions Architect currently with FutureLearn since November 2024. Previously, Ian served as a Senior Solutions Consultant at Synergy Learning, where Ian worked on prominent Moodle and Totara Learning Management System projects for clients such as Western Union and Ofsted. Prior roles include Senior Customer Solutions Architect and Customer Solutions Architect at Open LMS, where Ian delivered tailored Moodle and Totara SaaS solutions, and Director of Teaching & Learning at the National University of Science and Technology Oman, where Ian developed and oversaw the institution's teaching and learning strategy. Ian's significant experience also spans various roles at Majan University College, including Associate Dean and Director of E-Learning, as well as freelance consultancy in IT and e-learning. Ian holds a Master of Science in Multimedia and eLearning and a Bachelor of Science in Music Technology & Audio Systems from the University of Huddersfield.
