Miriam Rodriguez

Miriam Rodriguez, PhD, currently serves as the Director and Head of Scientific Communications for Translational Research at Genmab since August 2019, after progressing from the role of Associate Director in the same department. Prior to this, Miriam held the position of Scientific Affairs Manager at the European Association of Urology from June 2014 to August 2019, where responsibilities included ensuring high-quality meetings and communications related to Urology. Earlier experience includes roles as a Scientific Project Manager in Medical Education, focusing on educational projects in Urology and Oncology, and as a Researcher at Wageningen University, where research involved genetic architecture and disease pathways. Further expertise was gained through positions at the Spanish Institute of Cellular Cryopreservation and Instituto de Salud Carlos III, concentrating on immunology and stem cell research. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Genetics from Wageningen University & Research and multiple Master's degrees in Immunology and Molecular Biology from various esteemed institutions.
